Church of San Niccolò al Carmine

Chronicles of the SS. Carmelites

The church displays a series of paintings which run through several significant events linked to some of the most important Discalced Carmelite saints in the history of the Order: the images recount of the faith of these friars and nuns in their most intimate and profound moments; through them we can comprehend the spirituality of Saint Teresa of Avila, Saint John of the Cross, Saint Mary Magdalene de Pazzi, St Teresa Margaret of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, all key figures in the history of the Church.
